With the help of this app you can send Email, receive Email from your desktop.

Way to configure Mail In windows 8

Step 1

Just open the Windows 8 Mail app which is present on the home screen (you will see  the mail icon).

Step 2

If you are setting up the mail option for the first time you will see an add account option.

If you didn’t see the option just press WINDOWS+C button then the charms bar opens.

Every person who configures Mail app has to use Microsoft account (Live or Hotmail).

If you don’t have a mail in Microsoft just sign up and create it.

After login with Microsoft account now you can add other Email accounts(Gmail, Yahoo).

Step 3

In this step you had to add the Email id and the password and click connect button.

After clicking the button just wait for few minutes.

Then after the app shows finish button if it is completed.

Click on the finish.

Step 4

The Mail App automatically adds the contacts from your Email. (Gmail, yahoo, AOL…etc).

If the application was not successfully configured it will show you an option “Make My PC Secure”.

Change the settings.

Step 6

If you want to modify the settings open charms bar

Select settings>accounts>select your mail account and change the settings.
