To install a WordPress CMS, first we need a database
To create a database login to your web hosting control panel. (The control panel may be cPanel, Webmin, Virtualmin, ISPConfig 3 etc)
Here in the control panel you had to create a Database.
After creating the database, Download WordPress installation package from the official website.
After downloading the package extract it, and upload it to your Web Hosting account.
To upload files you can use any FTP client like FileZilla, WinSCP, Cyberduck etc.
The files have to be uploaded into the Public_html folder on your server.
After uploading and creating database you need to go to http://yourdomain.com.
It will notice you to create a Configuration file as below.
Now enter the Database name, User name, Password and leave the rest as default.
Now click on Submit button. It will take you to next page, click on Run the install button.
On the next screen you have to enter the Website title, E-mail Id, Usename and Password to log in.
That’s it, now the WordPress installation has been completed.
If you’re installing WordPress 3.6 version, Twenty Thirteen is the default theme.
And if the WordPress version is below 3.6 you had to install twenty thirteen theme manually as below
First login to your WordPress admin panel
On the left side of your admin panel click appearance.
Now click on themes option on the appearance tab.
In the themes you can see install themes tab on the top.
Click on install themes, now a search box appears.
